I’m a researcher, data scientist and educator dedicated to advancing ethical AI and equity in STEM. I hold advanced degrees in Data Science and Economics and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology with a focus on AI and Human-Computer Interaction.
My work sits at the intersection of education, healthcare and technology, with a particular emphasis on algorithmic bias and the development of fair, human-centered AI systems. My current research investigates how AI-infused learning experiences influence self-efficacy and outcome expectations among underrepresented youth.
In parallel, I lead and support AI modeling initiatives in healthcare, where I focus on fairness, usability and implementation to ensure that innovation translates into meaningful, equitable outcomes.
